As a franchise, Persona is an emotionally significant game for so many. What does this character mean to you?
Well the franchise itself was introduced to me starting with P4 and Naoto as a character blew me away from the very minute they were introduced. They're probably my favorite character out of every single game, so of course they mean a lot to me.
More than why do you want to write as them, but why are they special to you?
I've never really seen a character address issues regarding their specific complex so openly, it was so different to me and a first that it felt a little close to reality. Not to mention there are just several things about their personality that hit home for me, so I couldn't help but become absolutely obsessed with them as a character.
If there was something you could change about your character in-game,
What would it be and why?
Honestly? Not really. I like Naoto as they are. They're forever imperfect and that's what makes them perfect to me.

At times like this his mind taunted him with voices that blurred together to say the same discouraging, disingenuous chants. To man up, grow up and get over it. They were only nightmares after all and crying over a bad dream was pathetic—puerile. It was difficult to drown something out that he had believed for so long and yet hearing Ren’s voice among the rest soothed his anxiety. A gentle voice guiding his train of thought back to something comforting—clever.
The case came to him vividly as the scene unfolded within his mind, taking in every visual bit by bit. While it looked as if it were a simple robbery on the outside, there was something unusual about the entire ordeal. The usual pattern and signs of outside interference didn’t align with the common methods.
“To my understanding, I don’t believe the robbery was done by a complete stranger. I’ve been suspecting someone within the facility for quite some time now, however, tying the evidence to someone in particular has proven to be arduous. There’s something that’s right under my nose, but I’d need to glance over the files again before I can make a concrete conclusion and narrow down the suspects.” A small sigh releases more tension than he would have originally believed, relaxing against his friend as he busied himself with the case’s details yet again. Only coming to a brief pause as he mustered up a bit of gratitude upon a warm, little smile. “Thank you again, Ren. I’m really not sure what I would have done without you.”
The threats of the nightmare still crept throughout his mind but became less and less demanding as the case's details overshadowed the night terror's relevance. It was a clever trick that he had to admire, befitting of the other's cunning personality. "You know, your lack of social initiative hides your biggest trump card. Your clever tactics really know no bounds, even in the midst of tragedy, is that right?"
